I began knitting in college, but only ever learned how to make scarves. I decided to take it up again as a hobby so I could do something with my hands besides pick at my cuticles while watching television. I chose the softest yarn that I could find on clearance. It is quite thick.
My idea was to knit a blanket even though I know it will take a long time. I created this 1 ft x 3 ft section then decided was a really cute and snuggly as a neck warmer. I gave it to my friend as a birthday gift. Now I'm starting a new one that is light yellow (see bottom photo). Will I ever make something besides a scarf???
