Artist Date: Exploring the Menil

I spent sometime exploring the campus surrounding my favorite art collection: the Menil.

Ring Bearer

This fall I plan to teach a jewelry-making class. Here are a few rings created from origami paper. His and Hers Hearts Japanese Folk designs Paper folding made easy through YouTube Basic box rings and more advanced heart ring

Rhomboids

This is the second piece in my series of detailed anatomy drawings mixed with watercolor. Here I focused on the Rhomboids which connect the scapulae to the spinal column. Drawing bones and skeletons is quite challenging. My hope is that this series will improve my understanding of anatomy and my drawing skills. Graphite & watercolor on watercolor paper
