In Spirals: the Youtube Video

In 2024 I purchased two calendars: Zen Garden and Classic Fairy Tales. After the 2025 new year, I began to deconstruct and reassemble these calendars to create epic and dramatic scenes. For example, in Fantasy Collage #1, a young man must fight giant birds to rescue a damsel in distress. Additionally, a man, a horse and a chicken go on a journey together. The narratives are open to interpretation. I enjoyed repurposing these calendars which otherwise would have ended up in the trash. "In Spirals" Installation

Artwork Installation I was able to locate a space where I could install all fifteen large works of art related to my series "In Spirals". Here is my artist statement. On the left you can see all of the watercolor pieces. On the back wall is all of the pieces made from dried rose petals. On the right is a series of Fantasy Collages that I made from old calendars.
